Anne Graham Lotz, daughter of renowned evangelist Bill Graham and founder of AnGel Ministries, will speak at Baylor University's Chapel at 10 and 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 23, in Waco Hall.
In 1988, Lotz established AnGel Ministries, which is a non-profit organization that seeks to give biblical messages of God's word to the public. The ministry also has a purpose of defining God's will and word in an ordinary person's life.
Born in Montreat, NC., Lotz taught Bible Study Fellowship to more than 500 women in Raleigh. She also became the only woman to speak at the International Congress of Itinerant Evangelists in Amsterdam in 1983 and 1986, the School of Evangelism in Moscow in 1991 and the Global Christian Workers Conference in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in 1995.
Lotz received an honorary Doctorate of Humanities from King College in 1991 and serves on the board of directors for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
