Economics Professor To Speak On NAFTA

Dr. Joe McKinney, the Ben H. Williams Professor in International Economics at Baylor University, will speak at 4 p.m. Thursday in the Cowden room of the Bill Daniel Student Center, as part of the Council for International Education's lecture series, "The Current Issues."
McKinney's topic will be "The Institutions created by NAFTA." He will discuss the institutions that are set up because of the NAFTA agreement and labor and environmental concerns.
His book, Created From NAFTA: The Structure, Functions and Significance Of The Treaties Related Institutions, will be available in June.
