Baylor's Spring Enrollment Tops Previous Year

Baylor University has enrolled a record total of 12,179 students for the spring 2000 semester, according to the official 12th-day enrollment statistics compiled by the Office of the Registrar.
The enrollment represents an increase of 397 students from official figures for the spring 1999 semester.
Included in this year's enrollment are 10,751 undergraduates; 1,120 graduate students; 194 students in the George W. Truett Theological Seminary; and three School of Law students taking graduate hours, bringing the total for the Waco campus to 12,068.
At the U.S. Army Academy of Health Sciences in San Antonio, where Baylor has an affiliated degree program, 111 students are enrolled.
Official spring quarter enrollment figures for the law school will be available Feb. 22.
