Baylor University's department of theater arts will present For Better, For Worse Nov. 30 through Dec. 6 in Theater 11 in the Hooper-Schaefer Fine Arts Center. Showtimes for the marital drama by Christian playwright Gillette Elvgren are 7:30 p.m. Nov. 30, Dec. 1-4 and Dec. 6 with matinee performances scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Dec. 4 and 2:30 p.m. Dec. 5.

The play follows the story of Vicki and Josh and the troubles they face in their marriage, exploring issues of adultery, abuse and hypocrisy.

"For Better, For Worse touches on topics people are afraid to talk about in their own marriages," said Melanie Wingeart, director of the production and a third-year graduate student at Baylor.

The Baylor production features Lance Currie in the part of Josh and Amanda Archilla as Vicki. Other cast members include Joey Oglesby as Stan, Erika Saunders as Caroline, Justin Jones as The Man and Chrissy Huth as The Woman.
