Baylor to Host Cross Country and Distance Camp

Baylor University cross country coach Steve Gulley will hold two sessions of Baylor Cross Country and Distance Camp July 11-16 and July 18-23.
Boys and girls ages 10-18 will receive individual instruction in various cross country and distance events. The camp will allow runners of all experience levels to participate in personal training, as well as interaction with the group. During the week, students will also learn more about sports nutrition, weight training, equipment and various racing strategies.
Gulley will be coaching along with other camp staff members, including Michelle Reasor, assistant cross country/track coach at the University of Alabama-Birmingham and a former NCAA All-American, and Mike Gibson, head cross country coach at Humble High and a former Southwest Conference champion team member.
The cost of the camp is $325 for overnighters and $225 for coaches and commuters. The cost for overnighters includes meals and lodging on the Baylor campus. All campers will receive a camp T-shirt, a camp training log and a water bottle.
