Baylor to Host Two Camps for Student Councils

WACO, Texas -- The Texas Association of Student Councils will hold two student council camps on the Baylor campus July 5-9 and July 12-16.
Leaders and elected student council representatives and officers from 40 high schools throughout Texas are scheduled to attend to learn more about their role as a delegation. There will be various training sessions throughout the week to equip students with problem-solving skills, getting acquainted skills and assistance in decision-making. Students and their leaders also will participate in intensive group simulations, which are designed to teach them to work together to accomplish the task.
Students also will have the opportunity to meet students from other high schools during scheduled activities throughout the week such, as pizza and ice cream parties and various recreational activities.
The cost is $183 per student, which includes meals and lodging on the Baylor campus and all materials for the week.
