Baylor Hosts Drill Team Camp June 17-20

WACO, Texas -- High school drill teams from throughout Texas will travel to Waco as Baylor University hosts a drill team camp June 17-20.
The camp is sponsored by Showtime International, a drill team company which holds drill team camps all over Texas. The camp is designed to teach high school teams various drill team skills, as well as new routines and techniques.
Participants will learn new routines for football and basketball season, as well as beginning, intermediate and advanced dance techniques. They also will have leadership seminars and a session on drill team makeup. During the week, teams will compete against each other with routines they have prepared at home, and they will perform a routine they have learned during the week. Trophies will be awarded after the competition.
The cost of the drill team camp is $215 per student, which includes meals and lodging, and $140 for commuters. The camp is only open to high school drill teams, not to individuals.
