Community Children to Attend Santa's Workshop at Baylor

December 1, 1998

The sixth annual Santa's Workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday in the Lloyd O. Russell Gymnasium on the Baylor University campus. This year about 700 children are expected to attend. Baylor Office of Student Activities, Baylor Staff Council and ARAMARK will sponsor the event.
The workshop is designed for Waco-area children ages 3-5 and promotes interaction between the Baylor and Waco communities. Santa and Ms. Claus will make an appearance and there will be food and gifts for everyone.
ARAMARK will donate lunch for the workshop, and gift donations have been accepted from across the campus. Student Activities is also accepting monetary donations which will be used to buy presents so that each child may receive a gift.
After singing, eating and receiving presents, each child will leave with a goodie bag and a lot of holiday cheer.
