Baylor Theater Presents the Adding Machine Dec. 1-6

November 30, 1998

Baylor Theater will present the drama The Adding Machine on Dec. 1-6 in Theater 11 in the Hooper-Schaefer Fine Arts Center on the Baylor University campus. Curtain time will be 7:30 p.m. Dec. 1-5 with a matinee performance at 2 p.m. Dec. 6.
Directed by Baylor graduate student James Salter, the plays tells the story of Mr. Zero and his struggle to find meaning in his life. "This is a play about enslavement on all levels, culturally, socially and economically," said Salter. "This is not a bright, happy holiday show, but hopefully the audience will leave the theater thankful that they don't live in Mr. Zero's world."
The Adding Machine stars Joey Oglesby, a sophomore from Anna, Texas, as Mr. Zero and Stephanie Ybarra, a senior from San Antonio, as his wife.
Tickets for the play are $8 and can be purchased at the Hooper-Schaefer box office. For more information, call 710-1865.
