Baylor University faculty and staff members will soon receive a copy of the "Student Outreach Helpers Guide," which will assist them in counseling troubled students. The guide contains information on personal, social and health-related issues and will provide the proper information to refer students to trained professionals for help and support on and off campus.

The Community Development for Adolescent Development (CMAD), a statewide program, has adopted the guide for reference and referrals. The program is funded by the Texas Commission for Alcohol and Drug Abuse (TCADA).
