The winners of Baylor University's 52nd annual All University Sing were announced, Saturday, Feb. 26, in Waco Hall. Delta Delta Delta placed first with their act "Gimme That Country Side," Alpha Tau Omega and Kappa Chi Alpha placed second with "I Love the 80's," and Kappa Alpha Theta placed third with "Let the Good Times Roll."
These three groups will perform at Pigskin Revue during Homecoming Weekend next fall, along with Alpha Chi Omega, Kappa Omega Tau, Kappa Sigma, Phi Kappa Chi, and Pi Beta Phi and Phi Gamma Delta.
People's Choice Awards, which were voted on by audience members, also were awarded. Alpha Tau Omega and Kappa Chi Alpha's act, inspired by a 1986 senior prom, won two People's Choice Awards for best music selection and best theme development. Kappa Kappa Gamma won best backdrop for their act "Carnevale," and Kappa Sigma won best choreography for their act "Nine to Five." Third-place winners, Kappa Alpha Theta, also received the award for best costumes.
All University Sing features student performances of original musical acts. A national panel of 12 judges, with equal representation from theater, dance and student work backgrounds, reviews each act.
