Brubaker Named Aviation Sciences Assistant Director

Stan Brubaker of Waco recently was named assistant director of the aviation sciences department at Baylor University. Brubaker will serve as the department's financial planner and will oversee government grants and future curriculum plans. Additionally, he will supervise air sampling operations that monitor the state's air quality standards.
Brubaker is a retired U.S. Air Force colonel and received his bachelor's degree from Penn State University and his master's degree in business administration from Golden Gate University. He served as manager of flight operations and safety for the McDonnell Douglas Navy Flight Training Program, and for four years he worked on an electronics countermeasures contract for the Chrysler Corp. Before coming to Baylor, Brubaker was an independent aviation management consultant and pilot for several companies in Central Texas and Washington D.C.
