WACO, Texas (July 2, 2018) – In observance of Independence Day, Baylor University administrative offices will be closed, no classes will be held and some Baylor facilities will be closed or have altered hours on Wednesday, July 4.

The following is a list of Baylor facilities that will have altered hours for the holiday:

  • Central Libraries and the Moody 24-hour area will close at 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, and will reopen at 7 a.m. Thursday, July 5.
  • Starbucks in Moody Library will close at 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, and will reopen at 8 a.m. Thursday, July 5.
  • The Law School Library will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 4.
  • The Texas Collection will close at 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, and will reopen at 8 a.m. Thursday, July 5.
  • The Graduate Research Center Incubator will close at 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, and will reopen at 7 a.m. Thursday, July 5.
  • Armstrong Browning Library will close at 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, and will reopen at 9 a.m. Thursday, July 5.
  • The McLane Student Life Center (SLC) will close at 10 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, and will reopen at 6 a.m. Thursday, July 5.
  • The marina will close at 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, and will reopen at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 5.
  • The SLC pool will close at 8 p.m. (lap) and 9 p.m. (all) Tuesday, July 3, and will reopen at 6 a.m. (lap) and noon (all) Thursday, July 5.
  • The rock wall will close at 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, and will reopen at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 5.
  • The Bill Daniel Student Center (SUB) will close at 10 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, and will reopen at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, July 5.
  • The Baylor Health Center and Pharmacy will close at 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, and will reopen at 8 a.m. Thursday, July 5.
  • The Wiethorn Visitors Center will be closed Wednesday, July 4, and reopen Thursday, July 5.
  • The Baylor Bookstore will close at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, and reopen at 7:45 a.m. Thursday, July 5.
  • All Summer Session I students will move out of residence halls by 10 p.m. Monday, July 2, and residence halls will reopen for Summer Session II move-in at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 4.
  • Penland Crossroads and SUB Food Court will close at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, and reopen at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 5.
