Baylor Graduate Leads Student Foundation

September 10, 1997

Anna Hogue has been named director of Student Foundation, a Baylor University organization for juniors and seniors.
Hogue, a native of Coldspring, Texas, graduated in May with a communications specialist degree.
According to Hogue, "The purpose of Student Foundation is to build up both servants and leaders by giving them the responsibility of recruiting students for Baylor." Foundation members must secure scholarships for Baylor students, maintain goodwill among the alumni and students and act as liaisons between students and administration.
Hogue oversees the Student Foundation committees and maintains relations with alumni and donors. She said her current primary responsibility is to conduct interviews for prospective Student Foundation members. About 100 new members will be inducted on Sunday night.
Student Foundation promotes campus involvement with activities such as Freshman Follies and Bear Downs.
