Baylor to Host All-State Music Choir Camp

Baylor University will host an All-State Music Choir Camp July 27-30 in the Glennis McCrary Music Building with approximately 100 participants expected to attend.
The camp is geared toward preparing participants for the 1998 All-State Choir. Each camper will be given training on the music used for 1997 all-district, all-area and all-state auditions.
Faculty for the camp will include Dr. Donald Bailey, clinician and director of the 1993 Texas All-State Choir, and John McLean, camp director.
Cost to attend the five-day camp, including tuition, fees, dormitory, meals and the All-State Music Packet, is $225. Commuting students may attend for $135 which includes all activities, tuition, lunch and the All-State Music Packet. Schools qualify for one full camp scholarship for every 10 students attending from their organization.
Cost for auditing the camp is $110 including tuition, fees, dormitory and meals. Tuition for commuting teachers is $70.
