Baylor to Host Texas Baptist Church Weekday Education Conference

Baylor University will host the 1997 Texas Baptist Church Weekday Education Conference July 10-12.
Classes dealing with leading church directors and children will be provided at various campus locations.
The first day will feature speakers discussing the theme "Every Director Can." Some topics will include "Every Director Can Have Benefits," "Every Director Can Develop Counseling Skills," and "Every Director Can Develop Habits of Highly Successful People."
The following days will discuss the theme of "Every Child Can." Three general sessions will be held during the last two days. The first session, held July 11, will include speaker Mamie McCullough, author of I Can, You Can Too. The second session, held the evening of July 11, will include recording artist Sherry Uselton. The third session held, July 12, will feature Mary Lou Dickey from the Baptist Children's Homes Child Care Services in North Carolina. A Texas Baptist Church Weekday Education Banquet will be held the evening of July 11.
The conference will include 30 different seminars featuring 21 guest speakers. There will be three packages for members or non-members ranging in price from $30 to $155.
