Baylor to Host Conference for the Deaf June 13-15

Baylor University will host the 48th annual Texas Baptist Conference for the Deaf June 13-15 with approximately 250 people expected to attend the annual meeting.
The Baptist General Convention of Texas has sponsored the event since 1949. Baylor has hosted the conference for 17 of the past 18 years.
Registration for the conference will begin at 1 p.m. Friday, June 13, in Allen Residence Hall. The $72 fee covers meals, lodging, insurance and facility fees. The conference will begin Friday evening in Bennett Auditorium.
On Saturday morning, workshops will be held in the Draper Academic Building.
At 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 14, there will be a Gala Music Festival in Roxy Grove with performances by deaf choir congregations and individuals. The festival is free and open to the public.
There will be Sunday school and worship services on Sunday morning. The conference will conclude with a noon meal.
