400 Students to Attend Debate Workshops at Baylor

Two sessions of debate workshops will be held at Baylor University June 15-27 and July 20 to Aug. 1 with approximately 400 students expected to attend the sessions.

Students ages 13-17 will attend seminars where they will learn debate fundamentals, receive assistance in developing research and speaking skills and participate in practice rounds.

Dr. Karla Leeper, assistant professor of communication studies and the Glenn R. Capp Professor of Forensics at Baylor, will direct both summer sessions.

The fee will be $775 per session and will include room and board.
