Lariat and Round Up Editors Named

Lindsay Reinhold, a junior journalism major from Tempe, Ariz., has been named the new editor of The Lariat, the Baylor University student newspaper, for the 1997 fall semester. Reinhold is currently the news editor of The Lariat. Karen Taft, a sophomore journalism major from Bonners Ferry, Idaho, has been named the editor for the Round Up, the student yearbook.
Taft is currently the Baylor Life section editor for the Round Up. In addition, she is Baylor's second recipient of the Taylor Publishing Scholarship which is provided by Taylor Publishing and Jim Anderson of Austin, Baylor's yearbook representative from Taylor. This scholarship is a full tuition scholarship.
"I am extremely pleased that both students have been elected," Jason Ranton, student media adviser, said. "They are excellent students and will lead the publications very effectively."
