Campus Facilities Closed, Open Alternate Hours for Memorial Day

WACO, Texas (May 27, 2016) — Most facilities on Baylor University’s campus will be closed on Monday, May 30, for Memorial Day, and others will operate under alternate hours.

All Baylor dining halls will be closed. The Penland Crossroads food court will reopen at 7 a.m. on May 31.

Moody Memorial Library, Jesse H. Jones Library, Armstrong Browning Library, Carroll Library Texas Collection and W.R. Poage Library will be closed and will resume normal hours on Tuesday, May 31.

The Legal Research and Tech Center will be open from 8 a.m. to midnight.

The McLane Student Life Center will be closed for Memorial Day and will reopen at 6 a.m. on May 31.

The pharmacy, in the McLane Student Life Center, will be closed for Memorial Day and will reopen at 8 a.m. on May 31.

The Pullin Family Marina is closed due to high water but is scheduled to reopen at 3 p.m. on May 31.

The Bill Daniel Student Union Building and the Baylor Mail Center will be closed for Memorial Day.

The Baylor Bookstore will be closed and will resume normal hours Tuesday, May 31.

The Mayborn Museum Complex will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Wiethorn Visitors Center will be closed, but there will be walking tour packets outside of the building for visitors who want to walk around campus.

All residence halls will be closed except the North Village community, which will open at 1 p.m. for check-in for Summer Session I.
