Baylor Offers Festivities for Senior Week 2016

WACO, Texas (May 6, 2016) – With graduation right around the corner, Baylor University looks to make seniors' last week as undergraduate students a memorable one.
Senior Week 2016, which begins Tuesday, May 10, and ends Saturday, May 14, with the final graduation ceremonies, is full of opportunities for seniors to enjoy their last week as undergrads at Baylor.
Tuesday, May 10, is Baylor Bucket List Day, which offers a tour of Pat Neff's Tower and McLane Carillon, a photo op with President and Chancellor Ken Starr, a day at the Dr Pepper museum or the BSR Cable Park, a tour of McLane Stadium and a trip to Cameron Park Zoo. Students need to register by Monday, May 9.
Also on Tuesday will be the Final Dr Pepper Hour from 3 to 4 p.m. in Barfield Drawing Room.
On Wednesday, May 11, seniors can take the Senior Trip to Independence. The trip, which costs $20, includes a dinner on the grounds, photos at sunset and a pre-graduation celebration. The bus leaves at 2:30 p.m. and will return at 10:30 p.m. Students need to register by Friday, May 6.
On Thursday, May 12, Baylor seniors are offered the chance to participate in the Senior Summit from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Truett Seminary's Piper Great Hall. The summit will include lunch and a discussion on post-graduation life, with a keynote speech by James Roberts, Ph.D., the Ben H. Williams Professor of Marketing in the Hankamer School of Business. There will also be breakout sessions by former Baylor women's basketball standout Melissa Jones, B.A. '11. The summit costs $10 and students should register by Wednesday, May 11.
Also on Thursday will be the Senior Week Worship Event from 7 to 9 p.m. at Rosenbalm Fountain.
Finally, on Friday, May 13, and Saturday, May 14, Baylor Senior Swag Tents will be set up adjacent to the Ferrell Center. Students can stop by for photo opportunities and refreshments and also can take the opportunity to update their contact information to ensure they receive the latest news from Baylor.
