Alumni Association to Sponsor Credit Card Use Seminar

March 18, 1997

The Baylor University Alumni Association and the Student Alumni Alliance will sponsor a healthy credit card use seminar from 7:30-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, in the Barfield Drawing Room of the Bill Daniel Student Center.
Rebbecca Moore, Baylor account executive for MBNA, will lead the seminar.
Jeff Kilgore, assistant director for development and marketing for the Alumni Association, said the Alumni Association wants students to use the MBNA credit card responsibly.
"We want the students to use the Baylor MBNA card which benefits the university, but not at the expense of students getting into credit problems," Kilgore said. "We are responsible for teaching people healthy use of the credit card." All proceeds from the credit card go to student scholarship programs, Kilgore said.
All students, faculty, staff or children of faculty and staff may attend the seminar. Refreshments will be served.
