WACO, Texas (July 29, 2015) – The Baylor Professional Selling program (ProSales) in Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business was named to the Sales Education Foundation list of top university sales programs for the sixth year in a row.
Universities selected for this top schools list offer a variety of education and development experiences through undergraduate, graduate, executive programs, sales competitions and internships.
According to the 2014-2015 Center for Professional Selling Annual Report, ProSales students averaged 3.2 job offers each and earned an average GPA of 3.5, while seniors averaged a starting recurring compensation of $67,000. During the past academic year, ProSales students placed first at seven different sales competitions around the country, participated in 16 professional development events and were interviewed through more than 430 on-campus interviews.
ProSales combines curriculum with extracurricular college-to-career programming situated in the context of a high-performance, collaborative culture, which results in 100 percent job placement for graduates and constant program growth.
“We are excited to witness the growth of Baylor’s Professional Selling program. With the number of students involved in the program growing tenfold since 2009, we have been careful to strengthen the quality of the student experience,” said Andrea Dixon, Ph.D., associate professor of marketing and executive director of the Center for Professional Selling in Baylor’s Hankamer School of Business. “As a result, students graduating from Baylor’s ProSales program are among the best in the nation in terms of education and career preparation. Our corporate partners state even more strongly that they are the best in the nation.”
