Journalism Department to Sponsor Job Fair Feb. 24

WACO, Texas -- The Department of Journalism at Baylor University will sponsor its first job fair from 2-5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24, in the Barfield Drawing Room of the Bill Daniel Student Center.

Representatives from newspapers, advertising and public relations firms, publishing and photography organizations will be on campus to meet journalism students. Representatives from organizations such as the San Antonio Express-News, Amarillo Globe News, Lubbock Avalanche Journal and the Denton Record-Chronicle will review résumés and interview potential internship and employment candidates.

Anyone interested in such fields as public relations, photojournalism, news writing and editing, advertising, magazines and publishing may attend.
