Colin Franklin to Speak at Armstrong Browning Library Feb. 10

Bibliophile and book dealer Colin Franklin will speak on "Shakespeare in the 18th Century" at 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10, in the Armstrong Browning Library at Baylor University.

Franklin, an Oxford, England resident, is an authority on editions of Shakespeare and will discuss and display volumes from the library's Stokes Collection of Shakespeare editions.

Franklin is on a month-long tour of the United States and will speak in several cities including Cincinnati, San Francisco, Dallas and Austin. He has spoken at the Armstrong Browning Library previously and is the author of Shakespeare Domesticated: The 18th-Century Editions and Book Collecting as one of the Fine Arts.
