Baylor Releases Spring Enrollment Figures

WACO, Texas -- A total of 11,503 students are enrolled at Baylor University for the spring 1997 semester, according to the official 12th-day enrollment statistics compiled by the Office of the Registrar.

The enrollment represents an increase of 488 students from official figures for the spring 1996 semester.

Included in this year's enrollment are 9,736 undergraduates, 1,137 graduate students and 126 students in the George W. Truett Theological Seminary, bringing the total for the Waco campus to 11,372.

At the U.S. Army Academy of Health Sciences in San Antonio, where Baylor has an affiliated degree program, 131 students are enrolled.

Students from all 50 states and approximately 70 foreign countries are currently enrolled at Baylor.
