Career Services to Host Internship Fair & Resume Workshop

The Baylor University Career Services Center will host an Internship Career Fair Wednesday, Feb. 5, and a Resume Writing Techniques workshop Thursday, Feb. 6.
The internship fair will be held from 1-4 p.m. Feb. 5 in the Barfield Drawing Room of the Bill Daniel Student Center. The resume writing workshop will be held from 5-6 p.m. Feb. 6 in Room 303 of the Cashion Academic Center of the Hankamer School of Business.
During the internship fair, more than 30 companies will be represented to speak with students about internship opportunities. Among the companies represented are Andersen Consulting, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Baker and Botts Law Firm in Dallas and Scott and White Hospital.
Students need to bring their resume and dress professionally. Some companies may interview students during the fair.
The resume workshop will be led by Carolyn Muska, assistant director of the Career Services Center. She will present professional techniques on creating an effective resume and students may ask questions.
