Baylor Observes Special Hours Nov. 25 to Nov. 30 for Thanksgiving Holiday

WACO, Texas (Nov. 24, 2014) -- Happy Thanksgiving, Baylor! In honor of the Thanksgiving holiday, Baylor University will not hold classes and administrative offices will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 26, through Sunday, Nov. 30. Other university facilities will modify their hours.
Residence Halls
Residence Halls will remain open during the break for students needing to remain on campus, but will provide only limited or no services. Full services will resume at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30. The Arbors, East Arbors, Fairmont, Gables and North Village will not be affected.
Libraries
Moody Memorial and Jesse H. Jones libraries will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 25, and 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday. The libraries will be closed Thursday and Friday and will reopen Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. Normal hours will resume Sunday, Nov. 30.
Other library hours will be as follows:
• The W.R. Poage Legislative Library will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 26, through Sunday, Nov. 30, and normal hours will resume Monday, Dec. 1.
• The Baylor Law Library will be closed Wednesday through Friday. It will reopen Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and normal hours will resume Sunday, Nov. 30.
• The Texas Collection will close at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, and will resume normal hours Monday, Dec. 1.
• Armstrong Browning Library will be closed Wednesday through Sunday. It will resume normal hours Monday, Dec. 1.
SLC, Mayborn and Bookstore
The McLane Student Life Center (SLC) will close at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, and will reopen Sunday, Nov. 30, from 4 p.m. to midnight. Normal hours will resume Monday, Dec.1.
The Mayborn Museum Complex will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26, and will be closed Thursday, Nov. 27. Normal hours will resume Friday, Nov. 28.
The Baylor Bookstore will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 26, through Sunday, Nov. 30, and will reopen at 8:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 1.
Dining Halls
All residential dining halls will close 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, and will resume normal hours Monday, Dec. 1.
The SUB Food Court will close at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25. Starbucks Moody Memorial Library will close at 5 p.m. Tuesday. All other retail restaurants will close at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Starbucks in Moody Memorial Library will reopen from 2 p.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday. All retail restaurants will resume normal hours Monday, Dec. 1.
The Bill Daniel Student Center (SUB) will close at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, and will resume normal hours Monday, Dec. 1.
