Baylor Schedules Vary for Christmas Break

Several Baylor University facilities will operate under different schedules during the Christmas holidays.

Moody Memorial Library and Jesse H. Jones Library will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, and will be closed Dec. 15. Both will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday and closed on Saturday and Sunday beginning Dec. 16 to Jan. 10. Both will be closed on Dec. 23-25, and will reopen at 8 a.m. on Dec. 26. Both will be closed Jan. 1 and reopen at 8 a.m. Jan. 2. Both will resume regular hours on Jan. 13.

The Law Library will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 20, closed Dec. 21-22, open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 23, closed Dec. 24-25, open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 26-27, closed Dec. 28-29 and open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 30-31. It will be closed Jan. 1, open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 2-3 and closed Jan. 4. The Law Library will be open from 1 p.m. to 12 a.m. Jan. 5 and will resume its regular hours on Jan. 6.

The W.R. Poage Legislative Library will be closed Dec. 20-Jan. 2.

The Texas Collection will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 16-20. It will be closed Dec. 23-25, 30-31 and Jan. 1. It will reopen from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 2-3 and Jan. 6. The Texas Collection will resume regular hours Jan. 13.

The Armstrong-Browning Library will be closed Dec. 21 and will reopen Dec. 26

The Baylor Bookstore will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 16-22. The bookstore will be closed Dec. 23-25 and will reopen at 8 a.m. on Dec. 26. The Baylor Bookstore will resume regular hours, 7:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., on Jan. 20.

The Bill Daniel Student Center will be open during the Christmas break from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., except on Dec. 24-25 and Jan. 1, when it will be closed.

Baylor residence halls will close at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14. The girls' dormitories will reopen at 1 p.m. on Jan. 6 for those who are registered for sorority rush. For all other students the dormitories will reopen at 8 a.m. Jan. 8.

The Wiethorn Visitors Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. on Sundays. It will be closed Dec. 24-25 and on Jan.1.

Fall commencement will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, in the Ferrell Center.
