On Sunday, Aug. 31, Baylor University will celebrate its inaugural game, opening the spectacular new on-campus McLane Stadium on the banks of the Brazos River. Coach Art Briles and the defending Big 12 Champion Baylor Bears take on the SMU Mustangs in a game that kicks off at 6:30 p.m. after an exciting series of pre-game events and ceremonies.

Over the coming weeks, Baylor University will be communicating important information about Baylor gameday resources, programs and opportunities as we open McLane Stadium. Because the exciting return of football to our campus requires a variety of new practices and procedures affecting the campus, we ask that you give special attention to the communications you receive leading up to the Aug. 31 opening.
On Aug. 4, Baylor Athletics will go live with a new Baylor Gameday fan page at www.baylorbears.com/gameday/. This resource will provide Baylor fans with all pertinent gameday information, including parking, tailgating, stadium policies and everything fans need to know about McLane Stadium. Baylor students also will have a student-specific gameday website at www.baylor.edu/students/gameday that will debut on Aug. 4 with information specific to their gameday experience.
If they still remain available, on Aug. 6 at 8:30 a.m., a limited number of single-game tickets, as well as all general admission tickets for the South end zone berm, will go on sale to the general public. Those wishing to order any remaining tickets will be able to do so HERE.
Also on Aug. 6, registration and tickets for Family Weekend (www.baylor.edu/familyweekend/buy) and Baylor Homecoming 2014 (www.baylor.edu/homecoming/buy) events will be available online.
