Recruitment Office Adds New Admissions Counselors

November 1, 1996

The Baylor University Office of Recruitment and Parents League has recently hired Jamie Dudley and Blair Browning as admissions counselors.
Dudley, a May 1996 graduate, majored in religion and communications. As a student, Jamie was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority, Student Foundation and the Baylor Religious Hour Choir.
Her recruitment area in Texas includes Dallas and West Texas. She is a native of Amarillo. Her out-of-state areas are Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida.
Because of her successful experience as a student at Baylor, Dudley said working for Baylor is like a dream come true.
"I want to show students how great Baylor was for me and how much the school has to offer," she said. "I have loved Baylor since I was a little girl and I am amazed that I am still around and get paid to tell people about one of my favorite places."
Browning, a December 1995 Baylor graduate, also was a member of Student Foundation as well as Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. A native of Boulder, Colo., Browning recruits in Colorado, Oklahoma, Iowa and Nebraska outside of Texas and West Texas and Houston inside the state.
Like Dudley, Browning said he enjoys recruiting students because of his love for Baylor.
"I ran out of classes so I had to find a way to stick around," he said. "It is incredible that I get paid to brag about Baylor. It is an easy sell."
