University Bookstore Opens Baylor Bowl Store Featuring Fiesta Bowl Gear

WACO, Texas (Dec. 19, 2013) - Serving as the central on-campus resource for Fiesta Bowl and Big 12 Champion merchandise, the Baylor University Bookstore is opening a temporary Baylor Bowl Store on University Parks Drive, located on the Ferrell Center parking lot near Getterman Stadium. The 2,400-square-foot, glass enclosed pop-up store will open on Friday, Dec. 20.
The Baylor Bowl Store will offer a wide range of apparel and merchandise to help Baylor Nation cheer on the Bears, including 42 different styles of t-shirts, hats, sweatshirts, autograph footballs, ornaments and more. This year, the University Bookstore has tripled its assortment of spirit products to meet the growing demand for green and gold. The Bowl Store is expected to be open throughout the month of January.
"The Baylor Bowl Store and on-site spirit shops at the Fiesta Bowl will provide fans convenient access to our new Big 12 Champions and Fiesta Bowl options," said Billy Nors, store manager at Baylor Bookstore. "The increased assortment and streamlined access contribute to the bookstore and University's shared mission to continue enhancing the Baylor Bears fan experience."
Baylor fans also will be able to find Fiesta Bowl merchandise in Arizona. The bookstore will have several locations in hotels and other venues around the city.
"We will be there to support the university and Baylor Nation by providing a wide variety of merchandise to help cheer on our Baylor Bears in Arizona," Nors said.

The Baylor Bowl Store is the central on-campus resource for Baylor Bears and Fiesta Bowl gear. The Baylor Bowl Store is located on University Park Drive, directly outside of the Ferrell Center, and is open 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Saturday and noon - 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. The Baylor Bowl Store will be open December 20.
