Baylor Observes Special Hours During Christmas Break

WACO, Texas (Dec. 17, 2013) - In observance of the Christmas and New Year's holidays, Baylor University will close from Dec. 24 through Jan. 1. Baylor University administrative offices will have adjusted hours during the break. Classes will begin Monday, Jan. 13 for the spring semester.
The following is a list of buildings that will have altered hours during the break:
? All residence halls will close at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18 and reopen at 8 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 9.
? Collins and Brooks dining halls closed on Dec. 16. Penland and East Village dining halls close on Dec. 17. Memorial dining hall will remain open until 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21 and reopen Jan. 9. Penland and Brooks dining halls will reopen Jan. 12 and Collins and East Village dining halls will reopen Jan. 13.
? The Moody Memorial and Jesse H. Jones Libraries will have varied hours Dec. 18 through Dec. 23 and will close Dec. 24 through Jan. 1. The libraries will reopen at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan 2, and will return to normal hours Sunday, Jan. 12. For a more detailed library calendar, please visit www.baylor.edu/lib/hours.
? The McLane Student Life Center (SLC) will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Dec. 19 and 20 and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 21. The SLC will close Sunday, Dec. 22 and reopen Monday, Jan. 6 at 8 a.m.
? The Baylor Health Center and Pharmacy will close at 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 23 and reopen Thursday, Jan. 2 for regular business hours.
? The Bill Daniel Student Center (SUB) will close at 10 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21 and will remain closed through Jan. 4, except from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23 and Jan. 2 through Jan. 3.
? The Wiethorn Visitors Center will not hold tours of the university from Dec. 16 through Jan. 12. The office will be closed from Dec. 24 through Jan. 1.
? The Baylor Bookstore will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. The store will close Sundays, Christmas eve, Christmas day and New Year's day. Regular hours resume on Monday, Jan. 6.
