WACO, Texas (Oct. 2, 2013) -- The feature film "Where We Started," directed by Chris Hansen -- director of Baylor University's Film & Digital Media Division -- will be among those screened at Dallas's VideoFest, chosen as the best festival in Dallas by D Magazine.
The film -- the third feature film directed by Hansen, an associate professor in Baylor's College of Arts & Sciences --will be among several shown Oct. 9 to 13.
The film is about two strangers -- Nora and Will -- who have reached the age where life's disappointments have begun to add up, and they consider other options.
They click when they meet while staying separately at a roadside motel. Both are married, but their innocent flirting turns more serious, and they begin to contemplate a future together. As the two talk, they become more aware of each other's manipulations and their own vulnerabilities, leading them to reconsider their situations and the possible consequences of infidelity.
