Education Career Fair Set for Oct. 11

October 4, 1996

The Baylor University Career Services Center will host a Fall Education Career Fair from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, on the fifth floor of the Cashion Building of the Hankamer School of Business.
Education majors who are completing their teaching assignments will attend the fair. They will gather information on how to conduct a job search in the field of education and meet with school district representatives from across the state about career options.
Approximately 40 school districts will be represented at the fair. Among the districts attending the fair will be Carrollton-Farmers Branch, China Spring, Denton, Fort Worth, Irving, Killeen, Lake Travis, Midway and Mesquite Independent School Districts.
Pam Doherty, assistant director of the Baylor Career Services Center, said students should dress professionally and bring their resume.
"This is going to be the first opportunity for students to talk with an administrator from a school district," she said.
