Baylor University's Institute for Family Business will present a seminar on performance evaluation and compensation issues, the ninth program in its 1996 Waco Family Business Seminar Series, on Tuesday, Oct. 1, at the Harrington House Faculty Dining Center on South Eighth Street.
The seminar will be held from 7:30-9 a.m. and will be led by Dr. Joe A. Cox, a professor of management at Baylor's Hankamer School of Business. Cox has been a member of the Hankamer faculty since 1977.
The 1996 Waco Family Business Seminar Series was planned by the Institute for Family Business specifically for family-owned firms in the Waco area. The Institute for Family Business is a nationally-recognized organization that provides educational programs for family-owned businesses throughout the state.
Bob Hughes, program director, said the general theme of all the institute's programs is helping family-owned businesses achieve "healthy, sustainable growth."
