Randall O'brien to Speak in Chapel-Forum Sept. 30

Dr. Randall O'Brien, associate professor religion at Baylor University and an author and pastor, will speak during Chapel-Forum at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 30, in Waco Hall.
O'Brien, an interim minister at the Meadowbrook Baptist Church in Robinson, recently released his latest book, I Feel Better All Over Than I Do Anywhere Else...and other stories to tickle your soul. He has taught at Baylor since 1991. He has degrees from the Yale Divinity School, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and Mississippi College.
During the 1992-93 school year, he was selected the Outstanding Professor at Baylor by the Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society. Last spring he was selected to receive the Carr P. Collins Outstanding Faculty Award, which included a $10,000 prize.
He and his wife, Patricia Kay Donahoe, have three children, Alyson, 15, Shannon, 13, and Christopher, 8.
