WACO, Texas (Feb. 22, 2013)--Baylor University's George W. Truett Theological Seminary welcomes the president of Focus on the Family's CEO Forum Mac McQuiston.
McQuiston will speak on "The Role of The Pastor in The CEO's Life" at Truett Seminary's Community Gathering for Worship at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, in the Paul W. Powell Chapel at Truett, 1100 S. Third St.
McQuiston's career in Christian leadership spans more than 45 years and encompasses many key roles in some of America's most recognizable and influential Christian ministries.
McQuiston has served at World Wide Pictures, a Billy Graham association, and went on to serve as senior vice president for Chuck Swindoll's Insight for Living ministry. McQuiston joined Focus on the Family in 1977 as one of the original board members and helped James Dobson, Ph.D., founder of Focus on the Family, launch his city-wide radio seminars focusing on marriage and parenting.
Focus on the Family launched CEO Forum, an independent organization, and appointed McQuiston its president. He has served since 1995. The Forum is made up of 211 CEOs whose companies each have a minimum of $100 million in annual revenue. Their mission statement is "to develop spiritual statesmen among senior executives of major corporations, and through them, advance the Kingdom of God and impact the business and social cultures in their sphere of influence."
