Baylor University to Present 'After Dark' Sept. 20

The Department of Student Activities of Baylor University will present "After Dark," an auditioned talent show, at 7 and 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, in Waco Hall as part of the annual Parents Weekend.
According to Jeremy McCasland, director of "After Dark," the show will feature acts that include choirs, soloists, an a cappella number, an illusionist, a bagpipe player and a jazz combo. The talent show will conclude with a finale act in which all performers and choirs Heavenly Voices, Living Proof, and the Baylor Religious Hour Choir will perform the gospel hymn "Leaning in the Everlasting Arms."
At the beginning of the talent show, the Baylor Chamber of Commerce will show a video designed to give parents a glimpse into student life at Baylor. The Parents League will present Grady and Diane Ligon of Austin with the "Baylor Parents of the Year" award. At the beginning of the second act, the Alumni Association will honor the Scott/Logue family with the "First Family of Baylor" award.
Tickets for "After Dark" are $10 and are available at the ticket office in the Bill Daniel Student Center. Baylor students may receive up to two tickets for $8 each.
