WACO, Texas (Nov. 2, 2012) - Aspiring entrepreneurs will gain valuable advice from Robert J. Knorr, the Entrepreneur-In-Residence at Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business, during a brunch and lecture on "The Entrepreneurial Spirit: Founding, Funding and Faith." The event will take place at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, in the Blume Conference Room of Cashion Academic Center, 1401 S. Fourth St.
Knorr is the founder and principal of Cogent Inc., a consulting company specializing in healthcare reimbursement strategy. He will speak on his experience founding, funding and selling a private company and the role his faith played throughout the journey.
"The Entrepreneur-In-Residence program provides the opportunity for theory or classroom experience to intersect with practice by providing a forum for our students to collaborate and exchange ideas with notable entrepreneurs," said Terry Maness, D.B.A., dean of the Hankamer School of Business.
