Baylor Recognizes 6 Outstanding Staff Members

Six Baylor University employees were honored recently with Outstanding Staff Awards during the annual service awards ceremony held in the Barfield Drawing Room of the Bill Daniel Student Center.
Ruben Santos, C.S. Randall, Jerry Pickle, Jackie Yett, Vicki Fuentes and Leonard Brown all received special commendation and a $1,000 check for their years of outstanding service to Baylor. In addition to these six, approximately 280 other employees were honored.
Employees were recognized for 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 years of service. Brooches were presented to women and tie tacks to men with diamonds representing the years of service at Baylor, beginning with the fifth year.
Dr. Jack Herring, professor of English and the Margaret Root Brown Professor of Robert Browning Studies, was honored for 35 years of service, and Mary Tindale, professor of health, human performance and recreation, was honored for 40 years of service.
