Rosalie Beck to Speak at Monthly Worship Service March 1

Dr. Rosalie Beck, associate professor of religion at Baylor University, will speak at the monthly University Worship Service at 10 a.m. Friday, March 1, at Seventh and James Baptist Church.

Beck is the most recent recipient of the Carr P. Collins Outstanding Professor Award. The Carr P. Collins Foundation provides funds for the Collins Outstanding Professor program which honors outstanding teachers at Baylor. A professor is elected annually by the senior class. The recipient receives an award of $10,000.

Beck, who has been at Baylor since 1984, holds degrees from the University of California at San Diego, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and Baylor.

The worship service is open to the public.
