Al G. Hill to Lecture at Baylor Feb. 22

Al G. Hill Jr., grandson of legendary Texas wildcatter H.L. Hunt, will lecture on international business opportunities during a visit to Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business on Thursday, Feb. 22.
Hill is the son of Hunt's eldest daughter, Margaret Hunt Hill of Dallas. A 1967 graduate of Trinity University, he is president and director of World Championship Tennis, Inc., which for 23 years ran international professional tennis tournaments in more than 200 cities in over 20 countries around the world.
In addition to sharing ownership with family members, another 40 companies have been founded and operated from Al G. Hill Jr.'s business organization over the past 25 years. Hill's business activities include Southeast Asia business investments, as well as domestic oil and gas exploration and production, real estate development, video production and distribution, securities investments, and corporate aviation.
He is a member of numerous civic and voluntary organizations and serves as a board member of the Baylor University Medical Center Foundation.
Hill will speak to students in the Kayser Auditorium at the Hankamer School of Business at 9:30 a.m. and at 11 a.m. Both presentations are free and open to the public. Hill will be honored at a 12:30 p.m. luncheon in the Gregory Room of the Bill Daniel Student Center, where Hankamer Dean Dr. Richard Scott will present him with a certificate designating him as an Honorary Professor of the John F. Baugh Center for Entrepreneurship. At 2 p.m. in the Blume Conference Center, Hill will join in a round table discussion on the topic of international business, with particular emphasis on the Asian Market.
