WACO, Texas (Nov. 1, 2018) – This week, Baylor University will host a variety of musical concerts, including jazz ensemble, percussion and opera performances, along with lectures from the Academy of Leadership Development, the Baylor Institute for Studies of Religion and the Allbritton Art Institute.

SUNDAY, Nov. 4

Baylor Percussion Group - The Baylor Percussion group will present its inaugural concert of the season at 5 p.m. in Jones Concert Hall in the Glennis McCrary Music Building, 101 Baylor Ave. The performance is a preview of the percussion group’s concert at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention on Nov. 16. Movie Mondays - Movie Mondays continue with the screening of “No Greater Love,” a documentary highlighting Army Chaplain Justin Roberts’ experience of war, its aftermath and the hard road home from a soldier’s perspective. The screening will be at 7 p.m. at the Waco Hippodrome, 724 Austin Ave. Free tickets can be picked up at the Bill Daniel Student Center ticket office or online.

Texas Conference on International Business and Economics - Baylor’s Hankamer School of Business will host a policy forum on “Trade Integration in the Americas” in Foster 143-144 at the Paul L. Foster Campus for Business Innovation, 1621 S. Third St. Speakers include high-level officials and international business executives from the United States, Canada, Mexico and Brazil. William S. “Bill” Simon, retired president and CEO of Walmart, current senior adviser to the investment firm KKR and member of the Baylor Board of Regents, will deliver the keynote address from 7 to 9 p.m. in Foster 250. Rev. Billy Graham Centennial Symposium - The Baylor Institute for Studies of Religion will host the Centennial Symposium to assess and celebrate Rev. Billy Graham’s contributions to the Christian faith across a century, both in the United States and globally. Ed Stetzer, Ph.D., Billy Graham Professor of Church, Mission, and Evangelism, executive director of the Billy Graham Center and dean of the School of Mission, Ministry and Leadership at Wheaton College, will present “The Legacy of Billy Graham” at 11 a.m. in the Paul Powell Chapel at Truett Seminary, 1100 S.
