Mammals

The Mammal Collection at the Mayborn Museum Complex consists of over 1400 specimens collected over the last 135 years.

The museum's holdings include specimens from every continent except Antarctica. Examples include a weasel collected in Switzerland in 1878, a humpback whale skeleton collected in Brazil in 1905, and the last recorded ocelot from Falls County, Texas, collected in 1957.
