Baylor University Honors Program Exhibit

Honors Logo

The Honors Program, established in 1959, is designed to enhance and enrich the academic experience of talented, highly motivated students at Baylor University. The program supplements traditional degree requirements and majors in all departments and schools of the university by offering smaller, distinctive classes, encouraging interdisciplinary approaches to learning, and providing opportunities for students to pursue independent study and research with individual faculty mentors.

The Honors Program enrolls approximately the top seven percent of students at the University. From its beginnings as a program that served a handful of highly talented students, the program now includes nearly 800 students.

The exhibit will run from Tuesday, April 14 through June 28, 2009 in the Baylor History exhibit area.
