Department welcomes two new faculty members

Sept. 7, 2008

Dr. Simon Guest and Randy Hall joined the department this fall as the two newest members of the faculty.

After completing his Ph.D. degree, under the direction of Professor Robert Guralnick, at the University of Southern California in August 2008, Dr. Guest accepted a three year postdoctoral position in our department. Simon was recently married and the department is excited to have him and his wife, Shannon, as part of our family!

Randy Hall (Baylor, M.A., 1971) joins the department as a temporary lecturer. After owning a successful software business and teaching high school in Dripping Springs, Randy and his wife, Cathey, decided to return to their roots in Waco. Randy also holds an appointment in Baylor's physics department and is teaching AP calculus at Midway High School.
