Licensees

Baylor University uses approved licensees for the reproduction of their logos, marks and indicia on products that will used, in promotions, and in advertising. Any individual, organization or company wishing to use the name or identifying marks of Baylor University must obtain a license. This includes manufacturers or service providers who use Baylor's name or logo on products (including premiums for promotions) or in advertising. No products bearing the marks of Baylor University are exempt from licensing. Baylor's Licensees are grouped into three categories:

Baylor Vintage Collection
The Baylor Vintage Collection is a label created to celebrate the academic, athletic, and lifestyle traditions associated with Baylor University. The label contains the images and logos exhumed from collegiate archives which have now contributed to the creation of unique vintage-inspired clothing and accessories. The label assures consumers that such items are officially approved and authenticated by Baylor University.

In-State (aka Local) Licensees
An In-State Licensee can produce product with Baylor University trademarks for both internal and external constituents. The product they produce can be used for resale. Please click on the Local link to the left for a list of these licensees.

Internal Use (aka Restricted) Licensees
Internal Licensees are able to produce product with Baylor University trademarks for internal Baylor use only. Products produced by these companies cannot be resold. If you are not an internal Baylor University department, please see the Local or Standard Licensee list. Please click on the Restricted link to the left for a list of these licensees.

Standard Licensees
Standard Licensees can produce product with Baylor University trademarks for external constituents. The product they produce are used for resale. Please click on the Standard link to the left for a list of these licensees.

How to Obtain a License
Any prospective manufacturer who wishes to obtain a license to produce officially licensed Baylor University merchandise must submit a license application through the Licensing Resource Group (LRG). LRG is the licensing representative for Baylor University. As the University's representative, LRG is responsible for administering the licensing programs, including processing applications, collecting royalties, enforcing trademarks and pursuing new market opportunities for Baylor.
