Plan a Visit to the Texas Collection

The Texas Collection is located inside the Carroll Library building at 5th and Speight streets (#31 on the map).

The accessible entrance for disabled patrons is through a non-automatic door at street level on the Speight Street side.

Once in the building, turn right for the elevator. The main reference desk is up one floor on Level 1.

Visitor Parking
All visitors should obtain a parking permit from Parking Services located on the first floor of Clifton Robinson Tower. You may also obtain a permit in advance by going to Parking Services and clicking on the visitors link. Parking services will e-mail a temporary permit to you. Parking is available in the Parking Garage at 4th and Speight Streets.

More Parking

Handicapped parking can be found in two main locations near the Carroll Library building: in the Speight Plaza Parking Garage and the parking lot behind the Tidwell Bible Building. Handicapped parking locations can be viewed on the Baylor campus map.

Patrons can also be dropped-off at the cul-de-sac at the 5th and Speight intersection. Both 5th and Speight streets sections adjacent to the Carroll Library building are closed to vehicular traffic.
