Request Software

Academic Technology & Media Services (ATMS) updates and maintains operating systems and application sets on over 1200 computers campus-wide throughout more than 25 departments. Often, students, faculty or staff desire special software.

NOTE: Only Baylor faculty and staff may request software.
Students must find a sponsor to make requests for them.

In an effort to handle these service requests more effectively, ATMS has the following procedure:

  1. Installation requests should be submitted via online form at least three (3) weeks in advance.
  2. Departments should provide duplicates of the installation media, installation instructions and proof of adequate license to ATMS.
  3. Department representative should be available to work with ATMS to test the application's functionality.
