Student Technology Services (STS) updates and maintains operating systems and application sets on over 1200 computers campus-wide throughout more than 25 departments. Often, students, faculty or staff desire special software.
NOTE: Only Baylor faculty and staff may request software.
Students must find a sponsor to make requests for them.
In an effort to handle these service requests more effectively, STS has the following procedure:
- Installation requests should be submitted via online form at least three (3) weeks in advance.
- Departments should provide duplicates of the installation media, installation instructions and proof of adequate license to STS.
- Department representative should be available to work with STS to test the application's functionality.
